Sales figures on VGChartz are more often used as artillery in a never-ending console war, rather than an entree to a meaningful discussion about the video game market. Yeah but sales were an incentive to come to the site, at least a few time a week to check... and read a few posts, and that what make a community. But in the current state of competition (clear positions), even updated it would not be that great, and that's perhaps the very reason why they put less and less effort on the site update.
