I don't get it. Are they tired of people not taking them seriously? Do they thinking giving lower scores is going to make them legit or something? Is it just their time of the month?

Nah, it's just that they were softasses (lol) the previous gens.

Coming from the high note left from last gen.. the bar has been set darn high. But yeah, it does seem that way from many games reviewers these days. With that said, 2015 should be a better year for them (it better well be!).

Bayo2/Dark Souls 2? Well its just this year tht alot of games didn't score high.

Reviewers are becoming less relevant would be my guess so they might be going for that juicy click-bait. Take it with a grain of salt.

Maybe they expected games to actually improve with the new generation, and are disappinted with the lack of growth?

The games are just bad and broken... or there´s also those games where there´s just too much water.

While I don't mind them being harsher with review scores, it bothers me how political some reviewers are getting when it comes to those scores.
