Fair enough. i have been playing the game. i am in the sewers where you have to look after the black guys son. The game so far is fun as the story telling
i what makes it fun to play. However for me . my main drawback is the AI. they are smart but not consistent. there are alot of moments where the ai behaves stupidly to a point that you can exploit to your heart content lol and then for me the graphics for the remastered is disappointing as i was looking for a jump similar to Tomb raider definitive edition.. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece , however i would give it a 9/10. Listening to ellie talk to herself is quite hilarious :). PS on hard difficulty the game is very easy. Just have to be carerful when you have clickers in the area.

It is a masterpiece you are nowhere yet..it gets better and better as you progress, winter is amazing. You're not even half way.

To you maybe but for me nope. For me to be a materpiece it has to be without any flaws which tlou has . For me there no game that is masterpiece as no gam eis that perfect. Lol thats good to know i have still alot to do . i have only being playing it when i have time off from work.  Sweet i can't wait for winter yet. I have to admit ellie si a cool chick . However the game needs to be more challenging . way to easy. Does playing oon gorunded make the game challenging?

grounded is the most deliciously frustrating thing ever. not checkpoints and you get like 10 bullets per section of the game. So, if you want to play grounded you have to be extremely careful with ammo even way more than usual. the enemies are way more tougher too so expect to die alot.

wow thats awesome. should have done it from the start lol. i am playing on survivor diffculty and i usually just strangle  them and if necessary puunch them to death. i only use guns when i have too on a clicker lol .  have you clocked the game on grounded yet ?

lol nooo..not at all. I am in winter now which is easily one of the most difficult part of the game especially when playing with Ellie (since she is not as strong as Joel and has to rely a lot on stealth). But it is very enjoyable. I will definitely let out a sigh of relief when i am done and move over to MP. never really got into it on the PS3.

I thought the game was awesome but not perfect

The gameplay became stale and too easy(played on hard) but the story was beautifully done
And that ending left me shocked...

Oh holy shit, on grounded mode when she has to escape from a certain someone, it took me a solid hour and a half to get past it. I stunned and melee'd my way thru anybody I couldn't stealth. I think i only killed one from when she escapes to the restaurant.

The survival mode after hunting for the buck/deer is just as brutal.

You do realize Uncharted is pretty much an homage to action movies the like of indiana jones and such? It has to be in your face, it's an action adventure, not a suspense, crime mystery. The game was also meant to be linear, for the story's sake, it was never showcased as a explorative single player.

I do think it is best to judge for yourself though, play through all of it and then you can really give your opinion on it, good or bad. I think most people don't mind if a gamer doesn't like a game once they have played it all the way through but trashing a game without so much as playing it is just a diservice. It rubs anyone the wrong way.

In my opinion, you are blindly defending the game here - and you actually believe you have a point. But I disagree.

"It has to be in your face"

Nathan Drake does not need to hang (impossibly) by his fingerprints so often. It doesn't need to be in your face. Crafting an in-your-face game is easier than making a game with subtleties and intrigue. Someone may say, "Oh, but the game was meant to be like that", but that doesn't make it better - it's just an excuse.

"The game was also meant to be linear, for the story's sake, it was never showcased as a explorative single player."

This is nonsense. Tomb Raider isn't linear. There is no reason for it to have been so linear except for the technical challenges that it circumvents.

I finished Uncharted 1 twice (including crushing). I finished Uncharted 2 twice (including crushing). I finished Uncharted 3 once. I have full right to have the opinion that the series is overrated. Furthermore, when I say the exploration is boring and the gunplay isn't as good as (for instance) RDR and Gears, then I say it with full confidence that I am right. This becomes ever more apparant the more you play the game.

Again, Uncharted is an overrated series imo. This is mostly down to the average gameplay  mechanics.

Joe is one of the youtubers who's opinion i respect, regardless if i like it or not.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I love the game, but using YouTube personalities as legit reviews? No. Just...no.

Actually, he's just a real gamer. He plays all his games, thoroughly, and doesn't bullshit it. It's the opinion and critic of a fellow gamer, who has no affilition to a website or company, how is that a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing, but apparently you aren't reliable if Metacritic doesn't cover you! *cough* Quarter to Three *cough*

I rely more on user reviews on Amazon since the people who buy those specific games are actually interested in playing them. I feel that Quarter to Three only exists to disagree with everyone for the sake of not "being in the crowd" and to get clicks.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure that Batman Arkham Origins and Halo 4 AREN'T worthy of the 2/10 score!

Joe usually scores pretty harsh, does anyone know what else got a 10 from him? I think RDR was one.

Mmmm RDR.  Favorite game of 7th gen, tied with Xenoblade.

I havn't played and enjoyed any Xeno game since Xenogears. Played Xenosaga but never finished it. Got busy with a new job and school at the time then forgot about it. Xenoblade any good? It anything like gears?
