grind rupees wtf have you even played OOT...there is a room with unlimited rupes convieniently a screen away from the sheild...

BACKTRACKING??? I dont think we have played the same game

Yes there is backtracking. You're forced to go back to the forest and into the Lost Woods after heading out to Castle Town, just to get a stupid song that's only needed once in the game so you can get through Darunia. Overall there's a lot of annoying things like these you have to keep getting in the child part of the game (Din's Fire, Epona's Song (not really necessary though very important), Ruto's Letter, etc). Also most of these things aren't even mentioned properly in the game, so you can barely progress unless you're either following a walkthrough or just exploring for the sake of it (and exploring Hyrule as a kid was horrible). The pacing is way too bad and to an extent it prolongs into the adult part of the game, precisely until the point where you get the Hookshot which is also pretty annoying to find. After you get it the game simply stops doing this kind of thing and it gets infinitely better.

As for the "room with unlimited rupees conveniently a screen away from the shield"...
I've seen and talked to countless people who've beaten this game, and I've also seen walkthroughs. I've beaten Ocarina of Time easily over 30 times including Master Quest version, but I'm yet to see any sign of this room. In case it's actually in the game, I'm pretty sure no average newcomer will find it.

EDIT: we're getting really off-topic with this personal debate. You love Ocarina of Time, I don't (not to that extent at least). You think it's a great entry-level Zelda, I don't. Let's just call it a day and move on from this.

I guess thats the post of the year.

"Damn, OoT was so bad, right after playthrough number 30 and several Master Quests I figured out that I not like this game."

I'm glad I'm European, never played Monster Hunter before and now I'm hooked ;)

Its the room with all the pots as a kid...the same room where the man collects poes when you are adult link just walk out walk back in bam unlimited rupees. On the ledges as a kid are 5 and 1 in all pots. Its replaced by a single 20 rupee as an adult.

Its not hidden. Im really doubting your OOT knowledge.

but fair enough, I hate SS

Are you in North America or Europe?

NA

You can only choose from the 4 I have listed.

NA only has the four? In europe we have ten games to choose from, I'm surprised we have a much sweeter deal than the americans.

MH is so great. I hope MH4U will get a WiiU-port in europe.

Voted Pikmin 3 as you say you enjoy strategy games.

Yes it's timed; but it's not fast paced, you can replay days if you wish, and the game as a whole gives you plenty of time to finish it.

WWHD, is IMO, the best Zelda game and probably as good a place as any to learn the ropes.

Even though Pikmin 3 is my favorite game out of all those, I will recommend you Wind Waker HD because it's very good for beginners!

So as it stands, Wind Waker has gained majority vote. Pikmin 3 is second, and that originally was the first one I would have eliminated. I'm also surprised to see that NSMBU came in last place. Wind Waker has increased its chances of being picked, and it was the favorite before hand anyway. However, it's not over until I download the game so keep on voting and posting!
