I still maintain that Vita will get a MH game one day. The Wii did. The PS3 did. The Wii U did. Even the fucking 360 did. This is Portcom we're talking about, they brought RE4 to the iPhone for fuck's sake.

Having said that, claims that Capcom are "backstabbing" their audience by putting MH on 3DS but not Vita are fanboy* nonsense. As I said earlier, most PSP owners were not Sony loyalists, and have upgraded to 3DS, not Vita. Therefore, Capcom are still providing for their audience.

* Note, I am not aiming this at any specific poster, I haven't heard anyone on this forum make this claim yet.

...you really never know with Nintendo´s contracts.

Remember SquareEnix and the Dragon Quest exclusivity ? The public doesn´t know specifics, but it was quite clear that there was a dealNintendo (big marketing campaign in the US for DQ IX , them publishing V and VI etc.)

It wouldn´t surprise me if they have something like this in place (a publishing agreement for the West and maybe Nintendo outright funding development without owning the code)

...and the results speak for themself, there is a rather small drop from MHP3rd to 4 (including digital sales) despite the difference in installbase.

...besides, the Vita is getting MH Frontier this year

Great news but... only 2015 ? C´mon Capcom... that´s just too late. The West will forget Monster Hunter at that time. Should be launched this year

If we're counting the 360 as having gotten a Monster Hunter game, then Vita will indeed see Monster Hunter in just a few months.  The very same one.

OT I admit I'll have to eat crow on this one. Grats to you guys.

BUT it doesn't change the the fact that Capcom is mocking Playsation players, and I already ragetweeted Capcom France on the subject.
