Considering the DS should now be outselling the PS2 22,000:0, I'd say if it's not already there it will be soon. Sales trackers wouldn't stop tracking PS2 if it was actually pushing respectable numbers.

Not yet but it will. Nintendo wants the title of the top selling console, and they are gonna work hard to make sure they get it.

It hasnt, and most likely wont unless Sony really have discontinued the PS2.

That thread has a lot regarding PS2 numbers. It outshipped the DS through Jan-Jun. At the end of June, the PS2 was sitting at ~156.1m shipped. Its likely close to 158m now, if not higher.

PS2 was at 156.1m at the end of June.
NDS was at 153.6m at the end of December.

DS is still possibly ~4.5m behind.

Sales trackers? We know DS was at 153.67M a month ago, PS2 was at that number a YEAR ago. PS2 did more than 3M last year. If PS2 is really discontinued DS still has to close that gigantic gap.

That PS2 number was released on November 21st, 2011, and it was most likely as of the end of September 2011.  The PS2 shipped 1.5 million in the next 6 months, and then an unknown amount in the last 9 months.

The DS has not passed the PS2, and it will be a fairly long road before it does (if it even happens).

Correct. Do sales still count if they are returned after their child almost kills the Mom over not getting the right thing?
