I'll have to say 2006 and 2012, both were pretty meh.

Good year for Vita games, great multiplatform games, Walking Dead, Journey, FTL, Hotline Miami.

I don't know recall what games came out in what year, so I don't remember. There was a period of 3-4 years I didn't play much games. But I might have just not wanted to play games.

I didn't think 2012 was too bad. There were a lot of Pretty Great Games, not really any "classics" for me unless you count the Dark Soul's PC port, Persona Vita Port imo. But I can't think of a game I'd consider classic in every year so it's okay.

2012 was saved thanks to Halo 4. PS3 had a bunch of average games come out except Tales of Graces f and Nintendo had? I guess more Mario and the Wii U so yeah I guess 2012 was pretty bad. 2013 looks great though we got The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Ni No Kuni, and God of War Ascension just in the first half of the year. Then Nintendo has Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest, Pikman 3, Monster Hunter 3, to tide of their crowd. Then their is MS well all I know of is Gears of War Judgement. Then their is a but load of Multi platform games coming out in 2013 like Crysis 3, Lightning Returns Final Fantasy 13, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Metro Last Light, and Bioshock Infinite just to name several.

you know what's funny?

i've been running into a lot of Halo fans who said not so good things about Halo 4.

I thought that Halo 4 "looked" better than all of the other Halo games when i seen the trailers and e3 demo for it but then i started running into people that started saying that Halo 4 wasn't that good in their opinions and what not but whatever with that..

also what is that game in the last pic? That is Xenoblade right?

Meh. I'm interested in Journey and Xenoblade, but I still don't think they would save the entire year.

2005-06 was worse than any year after IMO. I practically gave up gaming during that period because there was nothing on the GC after RE4 came out, and I wasn't going to drop $400-$600 on a new console with hardly any games worth playing.

Thankfully 2007 changed all that when I got a Wii and a 360.
