Not quite what you asked, but Demon's Souls did under 100,000 in its first 10 weeks, and now rests at 1.67m. Sometimes games take a long time for people to be aware of them - UC:DF suffered from this as well.

All those sales came when the game was dropped to 10$ and ithink vgchartz way over tracked that game.

Blatantly False:

http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/game_comparison.php?reg=Global&ending=Weekly&game%5B%5D=Demon%27s+Souls+%28PS3%29+%5B31689%5D&game%5B%5D=&game%5B%5D=&game%5B%5D=

Take a look for yourself.

Blip at October 11, 2009 is the North American release.

Blip at June 27, 2010 is the European release.

So from release in Japan Feb 5th, 2009 throughout June 27, 2010 we can deduce that is full price. Roughly 72 weeks or 600,000 units sold.

Do you ever make sensible posts that use data or just endless suppositions that are easily disproven through facts? LOL

ok demons sould can not even be used for a 10 week comparsion it was released at differnt months IN PARTS OF THE WORLD, so its an invalid comparson, NEXT.

Ah, but this isn't about the comparison, it's about your position that all of its sales came from the bargain bin - $10 - hilarious as the game is still $20 everywhere...

well i thought to myself how can a game do 1.7 million in sales and only do 100,00 its first 10 weeks, i thought to myself thy must have dropped it to 10$, no exactly a big deal, vgchartz on whole is all about specualtion, last month they over tracked ps3 by 375,000 units.

Oh, you can post your thoughts if you want. Just don't try to pass them as if they are facts. Because, they are not.
You failed in every single comments you posted when asked to provide evidence to the BS you're spitting at every corner in this thread.

The only thing that "posting your thoughts" achieved in this thread is to illustrate your complete lack of credibility.  Nice going.

why don't any of you show me game that' sold over 2 million and not bundled double it sales after 10 weeks, uh that's right it doesn't exist, i guesss you guys can ignore that fact all you want. fanboyism at its finest, keep fighting the good fight, and you guys jump on me for the demons soul mistake, when the orginal poster made the mistake of it was out 10 weeks WW did 100,000 and then it did 1.7 million.

LOL. These bundle arguments is getting way too old guys. STOP IT!!!

Stalk? Nah. I just read a lot of threads and see you for what you are

Flame. Well, duh. Sometimes its best to call a spade a spade. Just so happens that for some people the truth hurts. This thread proves that with the twisted knickers over Uncharted 3 selling more than Gears 3.

You assumed, not me. I gave you its first 10 weeks on the market. But just to prove how stupid your argument is:

167,000 - 10 weeks USA sales only from USA release

70,300 - 10 weeks EU sales only from EU release

98,600 - 10 weeks Japan sales only from Japan release date

Total 10 weeks WW in respective markets: 335,900

LTD: 1.67m

Get some data to back up your ridiculous assertions.

The only reason Uncharted 3 will overtake Gears 3 is because of bundling. It's undeniable. Gears 3 sold 3m in its 1st week in Sept and Uncharted 3 sold 1.4m in its 1st week in Nov (the holiday season)...so in terms of fanbase Uncharted is still a long way off. Anyway, both are huge franchises and because Uncharted is such a good game I'm sure the bundling will improve its fanbase and subsequently improve the sales of future Uncharted games.

Wasn't U3 outselling Gears 3 even before the bundles on a weekly basis?
