wasn't Wii U supposed to kill off HD consoles sales once it launched?

So the 360 "raped" the WiiU at launch.  I knew that would happen XD.  Hopefully the PS3 will also have great numbers XD.

PS3 probably sold 550-650K, sony's black friday bundles sold out immediately

DAMN!

i'm expecting the PS3 to have sold 450-500k in the US alone on Black Friday

the fact it sold more than the wii u is incredible. a 7 year old console outselling nexta gen console

Wow you're easily impressed. Imagine how you must of been when PS2 did that in 2005 (over 360) and 2006 (over at least Wii/PS3 and probably 360 too).

WiiU was limited stock (400k was what Nintendo shipped).
WiiU starts at $300. X360 starts at $150.

Really, it should've been expected by anyone.

The gap between Wii and X360 on the US market is getting very small =p.

3.25m after this week. Will overtake it next holiday at the latest I'm sure. I wonder if it will be a victory worth celebrating though?

Being first in the biggest market means nothing?

I'm asking you. I didn't give my answer. Now that I think you've answered with a yes, it will be curious to watch how you react in the future when a certain event happens. Won't name it so I won't get this thread off track, but know I am watching your every move from now on

Shady...

OT: I better update my Halo thread...

I never heard that. It always takes a year or two for new systems to overtake old ones.

Love and tolerate.

I don't recall, but a lot of users(maybe you included) said that HD console sales would be down significantly after the WII u launched because it was nexgen.......

and PS2 destroyed everything for two years after everything launched due to the fact the PS2 was $129/$99 and still getting high quality AA/AAA ip

I mean Wii was $89.99 for black friday.. and sold 300K

Nintendo and MS told us. What about Sony?

Sunday, Nov. 18 – Friday, Nov. 23

That's not a weekend. They both say "week" and "over the holiday weekend" that usually means an extended weekend, not everything but the weekend.

"We saw incredible activity on Xbox over the weekend. For example, on Sunday alone we had more than 14 million people on Xbox LIVE across the world, racking up more than 72 million hours of use in just one day."

That's what the weekend about

oh and
