How is the VGChartz mod team doing?

It's doing a great job. 299 32.97%

It's doing okay. 143 15.77%

It's not doing well. 432 47.63%

Total:874

You guys haven't been able to catch me, yet. So, good job! One of you guys came close, though........

Just use good judgement like a parent with a child and everything will be okay. Just know that sometimes, we're going to bend the rules, watch porn, and rag on each other. We're still family.

My mod history is a testament of how the modding goes in here. Please pay special attention to those of the mod Kantor.

They can't see your mod history, but I'll oblige.

I think the new mods are good because none of them have moderated me yet.

Seriously though, I think it's good to finally have some mods who are very active within the community. However, I have seen some inconsistencies in moderating recently due to some new mods being overly sensitive about their preferred console/company when the person who was moderated was clearly joking or stating their honest opinion.

Oh yeah, and I don't agree with radishhead's recent ban of NFG because she posted 5 times on my wall in a row. Wall comments shouldn't be moderated IMO unless the person who's wall was posted on (mine) reported the person (NFG), which I didn't.... Can a mod please explain this to me?

Overall though, I'm pretty happy with the mod team.

Spamming is spamming whether or not you are happy with it. Not moderating it is akin to endorsing the behaviour.

She posted 5 times in a row on my wall....that is completely different to posting 5 times in a row in the forums. The only person affected by her spamming of my wall was me, and I didn't care, whereas spamming on the forums affects lots of people and therefore should be moderated.

Actually, it does fill up the user friend activity feed.

No it doesn't. The friend activity feed only shows posts that are made by users on your friends list. NFG didn't have any users on her friends list and therefore it wouldn't have appeared in anyone's friend activity feed.

Mr. Khan gave me a warning for...necrobumping? I posted a ":p" on a thread I was linked to as a means of proving that I read it, which was being questioned. Other people posted in the thread after me. Mr. Khan sent me a warning and closed that thread even though it was being revived by the OP. I cleared it up with him and he made a note to ignore it though it still shows up as a warning? Maybe I misunderstood him but shouldn't something like that just be removed entirely from my moderation record? Maybe it was, maybe it can't be undone. Still just a little confusion over the moderation and seemed rather strict and not against the rules, but maybe it was?

I don't have anything bad to say about the moderation on this site. For the most part it is rather relaxed, which I consider a good thing since strictness discourages conversation and debate.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Unfortunately, we can't remove anything from a moderation record. It's one of our requested features from the development team, so hopefully we'll get that eventually.

Good. I can finally get that double-moderation your gave me removed. Come to think of it, like half of my mod history would need to be deleted. There are lots of glitches/undone moderations/adjustments in there...

@axumblade, indubitably.

Just voted and saw the results. They are all neck a neck. Interesting. In fact the most popular vote is that the mod team isnt doing well. Shame they arent posting their reasons for there vote.

I don´t wanna get banned
