Disgaea being a casual IP CONFIRMED!!!

http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/game_comparison.php?reg=Global&ending=Cumulative&game%5B%5D=Disgaea+5%3A+Alliance+of+Vengeance+%28PS4%29+%5B84506%5D&game%5B%5D=Disgaea+5+Complete+%28NS%29+%5B156625%5D&game%5B%5D=&game%5B%5D=

If you select the Japan region (this is the Japan sales thread after all, you'd see it is slightly below the PS4 version.

So japanese people like their games more casual?

You nail it with 'slightly' though. And I guess NIS not only cares about one region if looking at sales and deciding to which platforms to bring their IPs. As a result I see a flood of NIS games on Switch. And Disgaea 5 is still a late port - how will the picture look if both versions are released at the same time? Disgaea 1 remake will be interesting in that regard.

MHW was a flash in the pan .

When an online focus multiplayer game at times has less viewers than BOTW on twitch. You know it’s bomba. And BOTW came out over a year ago.

I wonder how many copies were over shipped.

Curious Noctis. The timing of this pack. There's also this:

Not trying to say anything with this perse, just that it is pretty interesting considering our conversation two weeks ago.

Okay but I am also curious on what you want me to say?

But anyway, As much I enjoyed it and clock 300 hours into it and I am not yet 100% on completing the game.
I know why shareholder feels this way.
1. PC launch for MHW is what can I say? sub par? No new monster to add on PC launch? Wrong move. This is the perfect time to release an some sort of expansion.
2. They are handling the post game launch terrible. I think they need to learn a thing or two from Witcher devs and MMORPG games.

3. It's not just MHW fault do you see any big games on the horizon on the 2nd half of 2018?
4. Stock might go high again for RE2 remake. If that sells well then you will see the rise of stocks again then tumble down again if Capcom won't be able to maintain the momentum.

To put it simply. MHW already did it's job but Capcom failed to capitalize on profiting more for MHW.

What is wrong with you people? You aren't gamers. You're just haters of everything non-Nintendo.

Monster Hunter World is literally the best selling game in Capcom's history.

And regarding to bold, how in the world is the game supposed to be overshipped when it has shipped 3 million additional copies since launch?

It shipped 5 million at launch and is now at 7.9 million.

For what it's worth, I'm a Nintendo guy & think the idea that MHW is a 'bomba' is ludicrous.

Same here. Or like I said before, the actions of the investors make even less sense than letting the Nintendo stocks plummeting for no real reason

To add to your point. People need to look at the bigger picture, instead of focusing on small one (this applies to a lot of people). It rose by nearly 100% since November, for it to suddenly have decline by 10%. (Which by the way, since has risen by 5%)

MHW is a success, please need to stop acting like it is not.

Yes, capcom has some concerning spots of poor management of success, they are essentially how take-two was last generation, some how producing hits, but financially that was not being reflected, but that doesn't change the fact that the games itself were hits.

MH World a bomba?A game that sold more than 8 million units worldwide?God damn, if thats a flop, I can really think what can be considered a success....

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Well there was that one guy who said Zelda is niche, so maybe it is the same line of thinking!
