Man, Winning Eleven passed 100k first week on PSP last year, it won't even make half of that this year.
Nice Modern Warfare 2 sales though.

I don't understand why you people are surprised ToG sales when a bunch of little japanese kids are putting asside their money to buy FF13 ..... this game will probably have better legs than other tales games due to this.

c0rd said: Alright, time for the Tales analysis. Here's a table for all the Tales games I could find data for:
I bolded the titles that launched in December, and used VGC for LTD (dunno where to look for Famitsu). I guess you can hope for a pattern like Innocence, though that's probably pushing it. If I had to guess ToG's lifetime now (really not much to go by atm), I'd say 270k. I'm assuming it'll outdo Hearts, since this game launched earlier in the month. Some older December Tales from VGC data: Radiant Mythology (PSP, 2006) - 112k FW, 234k LTD

Thanks for this.
I'd say first week sales of Tales of Graces will be at ~140k, and lifetime sales will be at ~225k. It'll do pretty similar to Dawn of the New World (which is extremely disappointing).
I'm quite disappointed in ToG.
Oh well.
About ToS, it was later ported on PS2, where it sold another 500k.
And for the tenth time, ToS did not sell over 1m (on GC).
edit: ToG didn't sell badly, I just expected more.
Just ba Tales of Graces sales
even with the HIGHEST Famitsu score for a tales game ever, wii's bigger userbase this happened
But why?
I hope soriku takes this in a good way
OMG OMG NEXT WEEK NOW WE'LL BE SEEING FF13 FIRST DAY SALES!!!!!
