Well then whoever it was offensive to can be offended.... it wasn't exactly a slur on anyone in particular, and to be honest it was barely a slur on Britain either.

I can't wait for this holiday season... is gonna be spectacular x)
03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:
The X360 is in big trouble. And I even think the PS3 is undertracked in NA.
Kowenicki I am just curious as to why you guys are so defensive.. its just a stupid opinion

awesome sales for all the consoles!!. congratulations!.
Just a few things I want to say...
I don't see MW2 360 bundle moving much of anything. Same for the AC2 PS3 bundle. THey're both MULTIPLAT and sequals to games that RELEASED THIS GEN two years ago.
No one should be surprised about the PS3 not competing too well against the 360 in America. Price is a big factor when I think about what attracts american consumers. Also, the games and marketting are just more inline with general american tastes.
The guy that said something about U2 boosting PS3 sales. With out some immense Halo3 like marketing, it's not happening. U1 sold around 2.2M b4 it got bundled. And like MW2 and AC2, sequal to a current gen franchise.
4 ≈ One
Pretty much agree with most others about PS3 and America. It's always going to be the black sheep / abused stepchild / and generally disliked console. MS really has the mindshare.
I'm an American PS3 fan myself, but I tend to often disagree with mainstream American ideas.
In America, I honestly see the Final Fantasy IX syndrome happening to the PS3. People hating it during it's time but respecting it after it's time. With FF9, everyone gave me shit for liking it better than 7 and 8 at the time, but now all of the sudden I have good taste for still liking it the best.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Lol, this is turning into a British Pride thread.
