damn i wanna see the PES review to decide, to be honest Fifa 09 was by far the superior game, so if Konami doesn't change the formula, I'm getting FIFA

Obviously not because if you were you would know Fifa plays more like football then say PES does.

I used to be a massive PES fan. I still to this day think PES5 will be my favourite footie game.

But the things we used to hate Fifa for we liked in PES. Fifa was all arcade and felt wrong.
Now it is the other way round so naturally again we prefer Fifa. I can admit that, nealy everyone on the PES board can admit that, so why can't you?

Konami said they were taking the series back and starting from scratch last ear like Fifa did for 08. But this year it is even worse then last, they did not take it back. PES2010 is the worst football game i have played.

If you truely prefer PES2010 over Fifa10 then of course that is your opinion but don't assume all PES fans agree with you because we don't. Only way Konami will get better is by telling them how it really is.
Fifa10 is a great game and deserves the scores it is getting because it has built up over three seasons to this point, each time improving. Where as PES2010 will get 7 reviews because it has gone the other way.

Your nuts Tombi, PES has been utter CRAP for 3 or 4 years now. While FIFA completely changed it's game from FIFA 08 onwards.

You just sound like "the last of the PES fanboys". I know because I used to be one, but I opened my mind to change and didn't stick with something out of loyalty. PES is a dying dog and nothing can save it now.

Never a truer word spoken. Believe it or not the majority of PES fans have gradually moved to taking this exact stance. It's taken some longer than others but *most* of true PES fans are exactly where you are.

For me it simply took the release of FIFA 08 Vs PES2008 to see the hilarious POS that PES had become.

They could give PES 2010 a 0 out of 10 and I'd still buy it over FIFA any day of the week.

And you would be the only one to lose out by doing that :)

Konami are happy im sure that you would buy whatever they put out. As someone else said, will the last person to leave the PES house please turn the lights off after they leave, i'm guessing you might be the last one to leave ;)

PES 2008 and 2009 were simply horrible mediocre and that's coming from a die hard PES fan.

FIFA changed in a good way. FIFA 08 was really good and FIFA 09 did some things better (and some things worse - for example long-range shots)
I played the FIFA 10 demo and it combines everything that made FIFA 08 and FIFA 09 so good and improved even a couple more things.
Haven't played the PES2010 demo yet, but that IGN score is justified.
