Finally got my Platinum! Now I can play the game straight through again without trophy-whoring.

Just my 2 cents as I have just finished the game (one time though I am itching to go through again to see different endings).

If you take Heavy Rain as a "pure" video game, it really isn't great. Controls are limited, you can't do much, etc...

If you take this as a movie, it is also (all this is "imo" of course) very flawed. Acting is horrible (graphics are great and all but come on, facial expressions don't change all that much, etc...). An example of this would be the love scene. Also, there are some holes in the script. And I could go on.

But the amazing thing is, that when you blend the 2 together, it works for some reason. I haven't been sucked into a game this much in a while.

So yeah, don't know how I would grade this game but I spent loads of my free time advancing and trying to finish this game. And once I did, I wanted to go again. I guess that's the best compliment I can give to any game.

Congrats Quantic Dream. Don't know what you did but it worked for me.

Game is really good but it does one thing totally wrong - you play as 4 characters.  The worst thing is you can't choose side you are really dedicated to. For example - the final duel. You can play as Jayden or Madison - it's cool, but if you decide to support Shelby /let's say just for different ending or just because you are sick fuck / you have to still play as both other characters and let them being killed. It sucks balls - there is no gameplay, you just skip quick action events. It would be much more fun to actually kick their asses yourself.

Also for me it's pretty inconsistent you can hear thoughts of your character and still don't know his/her intention. Anyway I've really enjoyed it. For me though you should beat it only once in your way. It tastes the best in such configuration.

amazing game

Just finished the Taxerdermist. I had alot of fun with it. Even though I seen the scene before like a year ago. My heart was still pounding during the sequence. and the way I finished it was CRAZY!

Good DLC, but not sure if it really warrants a purchase. Got mine for free as a pre-order bonus. Hell of alot better than that crap DLC I got with Dante's Inferno that lasted 5 seconds.

I should have my COPY next week. If not, I'm killing a goat...
