Voices will ruin Zelda games, at least wiht the character you control.
Khuutra said: I would accept voices on TWO CONDITIONS. 1. Link does not talk, EVER. 2. If we have voices, then the language used has to be a made-up language, neither Japanese nor Enlish, like in ICO or Shadow of the Colossus. |
This is a great idea.

Our good friend is referencing the voicing of Pit in Brawl.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
nononononononononononononononooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Making my own voices makes the game even more awesome! Although, I do prefer voice acting in other games like Trauma Center
Yes to professional voice acting.
Yes to subtitles (helps a great deal for non native English speaking gamers comprehend faster what they are listening)

How would it ruin the game? Pippy might have been a little annoying in Star Fox 64 but I remember thinking how awesome it was that Nintendo characters were finally talking when I played that back in the day, it did not take away from the game at all. I love voice acting in rpg games such as Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy X. It just makes sense that an action rpg game such as Zelda would have voices. You talk to so many villagers that seem animated running around, it would be nice to here them talk. I would definitely love to hear bad ass Ganon talking some smack!!
Yes, as long as it's very good, the grunting that they use now is getting a bit old too. I think Link should stay silent though.
I don't like Zelda, so I approve of words if only to commit evil.
Tease.
