Anywho, yeah... as for a legitimate answer, I'd say colors would be a great way to keep things fresh this holiday season. With Wii Fit Plus and New Super Mario Bros. coming out (and with Wii Sports Resort selling like the way it is), the big name games will be there. It's up to Nintendo to keep the system fresh in the minds of potential buyers.

So people waited to buy a wii because it was not red or black.

Mmm its true, but if the Wii had bigger support i'd tend to agree, too bad it doesnt... Well its starting to show though in Japan, i just hope taht trend continues in the west

No... my main point is that Nintendo needs to keep Wii fresh in the minds of potential buyers, colors would be one way to do that. The games will be there, as I've already stated. But what Nintendo needs to do is to keep the console itself in the line of sight of consumers. I really don't care what they do: commercials, colors, price cut, bundles, delicous pies... remind the consumer why the Wii is worth purchasing.

I just don't think changing the color would be making it fresh.An hd wii than yes.
