So 13-15 million, while MKWii is already at 16 million, and just keeps selling. So, it's very unlikely, but I wouldn't say "impossible", because apparently The Conduit outselling Killzone 2 isn't "impossible" either.

Nintendo has never released two Mario Karts on one console.  There is one on the SNES, one on the N64, one on the GC, one on the GBA, one on the DS, and one on the Wii.

What makes you think there will be a second Mario Kart on the Wii?

I think the Conduit outselling Killzone 2's "impossibleness" is on a smaller scale, though. I suppose we'll see soon enough...

As for people bringing up whether MK Wii vs GT:Port+GT5 is fair, forget about it. darth needs to add both games to make it a closer "fight," but even then it's not even close.

That's the entire racing catalogue on the PS3. Okay, I know the data is incomplete, but I wonder if it can stay above at least the PS3's top 10 for the whole gen? Maybe that's pushing it?

Of course I'm slightly amused that back before MKWii launched there were vs threads with mostly GT5 coming out on top, now we have one combining two GT games to match the one MK. Who saw that coming?
