This man owns both titles. He has only gotten as far as the second Colossus in Shadow, and never even bothered to begin Ico.
Everybody, get 'im.

I've only actually sat down to play SOTC once. And that time, a friend asked me to play it.
I don't really have a good reason for ICO other than I'm been playing other things.

No, you shouldn't have.
If you like adventure games and are considering giving these a go, do your self a favor. They are easily two of the most amazing adventure games ever made and you won’t regret it.
For starters, the art style and architecture, (of the castle in ICO and the landscapes, ruins, and Colossus in SOTC), are mesmerizing beautiful and must be experienced. Few games will ever come close to matching the artistic excellence of these games (I consider the first Metroid Prime, Okami, and Wind Waker in a similar class)
And from a game play perspective, both games are uniquely old school in that they focus on a few simple, but brilliantly well implemented, play mechanics (something I much prefer to the more complex games where you do like 100 different things but none of them are that fun, AKA- GTA or Fable).
Seeing the concept video for their next game has got me excited. Probably have to give them another run through before its release next year.
Okay, I'll go back and play it.
But first, INFAMOUS DEMO!
Sorry, Wipeout HD, you'll have to be neglected for a while.
Now, should I play on Normal again, or give Hard a shot?
First, a general comment. Shadow of the Colossus is perhaps the most unique game I have ever played, and certainly one of the best. The colossi were all different, the music was fantastic, the graphics (ignoring Wander) were excellent, and the entire game was an amazing ride.
