Phil harrison had hair lol

btw this is a more straight story

and if anyone wondered what Nintendo actually did with with Philips then here it is.

Worst console in history.

I thought the final paragraph was fair enough. I like my PS3, but there is no doubt Sony didn't seem as clear about the console as the PS1/2 nor how to launch it and make it the success the market was expecting.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Really interesting read.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to link Ronster to this thread.

nice article... which, depite the complaints above, needed the final paragraph to put it in perspective.

This.  It wasn't inaccurate, and it wasn't that bad either.

yeah I agree. Sony definitely lacked a clear marketing plan until Nov 2007. Was it a BD player? a multimedia hub? a game system? looking at their ads in 2007, you didn't really have any idea.

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

Great read

Oh how revenge is so sweet lol I bet Nintendo was kicking themselves in the nuts for making that horrible decision.

nice read brings back memories i loved the old PS1 ads on tv were it would say playstaion at the end of the ad with a robotic type voice they should of keeped that for the p2 and ps3

there was something like this on the history channel about history of all the consoles up to the gc ps2 and xbox that i recorded it was good watch
