Sony could only dream to get the same sales as MK with the GT series, it´s a good series with good sales numbers but they can only dream about reaching MK in sales.

Nintendo doesn't need to make a sim racer or action game like GOW. They're too busy creating new games, new experiences and popularizing new genres to worry about copycatting other franchises.

It has been gone over a thousand times why Resistance sold what it did. Sony fans use it all the time to explain the massive drop in sales Resistance 2 had.

GT is bigger than most Nintendo franchises true. However, it's not bigger than all of them, and it sure isn't bigger than Mario. Find me a Gran Turismo game with higher sales than New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. Considering how you are talking about Sony's biggest franchise by far, with nothing else remotely in that range, you've done nothing but prove the point that Nintendo's franchises are much bigger as a whole.

The real question is...
Why dosent Nintendo have titles like Sony + MS.
Why cant Ninty make a good FPS?
Why cant Ninty make a good TPS?
Why cant Ninty make a good racing sim?

Thats what i want to know. The reason i got rid of my Wii was the lack of variety in good games, i dont want to see Mario/Samus/Link in all the top games... i want something new.

Exactly and this is why I never even thought about picking up the wii.   Their games are not targeting my gamer demographic (or playstyle)at all, they may cool for some of you people but for me......no.

Nintendo doesn't have titles like Sony + MS(even though they really do) because they are Nintendo. It's the same reason why Sony and MS don't have titles like Nintendo.

FPS-They can. They just haven't tried. I'm also under the assumption that we aren't considering Metroid Prime an FPS, otherwise there's your new answer.

So you want something new on Nintendo's console and not the same old Samus/Mario/Link trifecta but you have no problem playing Fallout 3, Call of Duty 4, Quantum of Solace, Resident Evil 5, Fable II, Call of Duty: World at War, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Gears of War 2, Mercenaries 2, Crash of the Titans, Halo 3, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Legend and Call of Duty 2 on your 360. It seems you expect more out of your Wii then you do out of your primary console. Take a look around. Sequels rule the day all over. If you want originality, sell your 360 and buy a DS.

Yes i have all them games played, but there is a big variety of characters there also, and some new games to go with that.
What im talking about is good new games brought to this Gen...
Gears, Uncharted, LBP, Mass Effect, Bioshock. etc. And i just dont see this happening on Wii.

But you act like only Link, Mario and Samus are part of every Wii game published by Nintendo. What about Fire Emblem? What about Battalion Wars? What about Excite Truck and Excitebots? What about Punch-Out in a few months? What about Animal Crossing? What about Warioland: Shake It? What about Sin and Punishment 2?

It's not Nintendo's fault that Mario, Link and Samus are so popular and sell so much. They are long standing series. It seems to me you judge the library based on the most popular titles, because anyone that actually knows anything about the Wii knows Nintendo makes other games than just Mario, Link and Samus games.

I think they don't know how to promote their best selling titles. It also could be whoever is developing the game. Crash was a huge series for the Playstation. However, when Naughty Dog stop developing the game, the series died. Another important fact is most of Nintendo's best selling titles are first-party and Sony just barely has any top selling titles. Most of their best selling titles sell more than 2 million worldwide after 3 months or so. Expect MGS4, because that's a storied franchise.

Yeah i know that there are some good Wii games out what dont include them 3, but there aint a lot of NEW IPs, thats what im talking about.

No, there are some more new IPs on the Wii, but I strategically left them out because I didn't want to get into a "minigames are shit" argument. The other consoles are ripe full of sequels also. New IPs are few and far between, and even those that are just become franchises anyways, putting them in the same boat as Mario, Link and Samus the moment the sequel hits.

Good thing you got a DSi though. If you want to see new franchises from Nintendo, that is where to look. You'll also find a gang bang amount of original IPs from tons of third party developers too. There's nothing like it on any other console or handheld.
