I like both though I hate random encounters with enemies simply for stepping out side a house.

turn base for me, especially vagrant story batle system is the best out there

action rpg can be finish by button-mashing and I'd be ok with it if it was fun but IT'S NOT , If I want to button-mash I'll just play DMC or God of war and have 10X fun

Silly question. No genre is better than another. Games are though, on a technical and personal level.
I've played games from both genres and both liked some and disliked others.

Life and common sense send their best.

Turn-based easily. One of the reasons why I like Lost Odyssey so much. There are too few turn-based RPG's nowadays.
