Forums - Gaming Discussion - Street Fighter IV: PS3 vs 360

I bought Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD for the PS3 AND the 360. I have to say, the 360 experience was much better (online) than the PS3 version. No lag, Always somebody to play with, voice chat. I am not kidding when I say this: My 360 is broken. Today, I stood in line with the PS3 version of Street Fighter IV. After thinking about it for a minute, I put the game back on the shelf, grabbed a brand new XBox 360 and the 360 version of Street Fighter IV.

I realised that I was acting to hastily, and put the 360/Street Fighter IV back on the shelf, but I swear, I will buy another 360 and SF IV before I settle for the PS3's version. Online is THAT important to me!

SF on 360 > SF on PS3

With slight differences like that the winner is the PS3. As long as the 360 is loud as hell, it cant have the better game. The NXE does help though, you just have to listen to the fans which is tolerable.

Who the hell plays with a gamepad anyway? Sticks all the way!

and the winner is (no surprise) 360.

Difference to me is SO minute, not sure how anyone can argue strongly that one is that superior to the other one.

You don't mind the d-pad? It's a fighting game after all...

Why do I always hear such awful things about the Ps3 online? Is it really that bad or is it just not as good as the 360?

No its not. The only things Live has over PSN is features, NOT stability. Stability is dependant upon your own ISP, not Sony's or MS's servers for the most part. THey are equal when it comes to stability and speed.

You are just hearing the blasphemous lies of those who want to spread their bias upon the masses.

My reckomendation is to ignore them.

As a New Zealander trying to connect to the world, Xbox Live is actually playable with people in Europe/America whilst the PSN connection lags harder.

Tease.

like i said, its your internet provider and where YOU live. This is not true for everyone, just an isolated incident. My PS3 internet runs smoothly. I can surf the web quicker on the PS3 then my computer which is saying a lot. On the other hand, when my roomies 360 was hardwired in my house it only got decent to poor connection. Just like yours, this is an isolated incedent that can't be portrayed on everyone's situation.

Greatness Awaits

PSN:Forevercloud (looking for Soul Sacrifice Partners!!!)

I'm scared to play my SFIV online. I'm afraid to get owned because I suck at the game. Being Asian and sucking in Street Fighter game is a shame.

its like seeing my T.v screen but with a black line in the middle, they look exactly the same. =s

If online was so important to you then you would have already purchased the PS3 version. Name me one 360 game that supports 60 player online with no lag.....scratch that, name me one 360 game that supports 32 player online period. Ps3 pwns the 360 in terms of online play.

Haha,

hey, atleast we have someone to talk to while playing online.

"scratch that" lulz.

chump.

As do I, and with a wireless headset no less. So whats your point again?

D-Pad says hi...
