I predict hardware sales much better than individual software sales so don't hold me to any fires if they're wrong or not. But I think my figure is pretty reasonable.

(truth be told my mind said 1 million anyway but I wanted to put in worst case scenario for balance. I see it hitting closer to 1 million than 500,000 no matter what the range)

The hardest prediction will be Wii Fit... it looks like it's been pushed up to come out in December WW now to counter Sony and Africa (which I never saw as being a big Sony game but the tech coming with it is similar to the wiifit board apparently). I still say WiiFit will do crazy well no matter what.



Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Well guess im outlandish, my first for MP3 was also 450 k, but know im mor like 359 k. Some still might play Mario Strikers or Madden.

That is outlandish, to make a prediction of only 1 million for SSBB! There's that many people just in the "official SSBB official updates" thread

Actually I would say it depends entirely on whether it will be online or not. Sure, everybody thinks it will be online, but it isn't confirmed yet and I know at least a million people that won't buy it unless it is online ok, maybe exaggerating a little. A million is a lot for first week sales, but didn't Halo 2 & 3 pass that in preorders alone? Not that SSBB is Halo, but that does give an indication of what support may be like... Halo 2 @ 8 million = >1 million Halo 3 preorders. SSBM @ 6 million.... Could go over 1 million preorders for SSBB, but only if online is announced...early enough to make preorders anyway.

I think Metroid will make about 250K first week sales and SSB:B will make about 450K
