Um, I don't know how to say this, but I wasn't as wowed by the demo as I thought I'd be. It was fun, sure, and it probably didn't help that I was playing with two voiceless people and a bot, but I didn't feel as tense as I thought I would.

Still a very fun cooperative experience, and I'll still probably buy it as soon as I can, but I can't see it taking too much time away from Gears 2 for me.

Sigh, another day one purchase. Well, my wallet is sighing, not me.

I've been playing this game on expert, only beat it once thus far. It is AMAZINGLY tense and hard due to the presence of the "director" (The A.I. That changes how the scenario plays out depending on player's moods, weapon layouts, etc etc though every playthough." Not a single playthough will be the same, while sometimes you'll blast though one area, you may find yourself having extreme difficulty in the same area on another playthough.

With co-op it just adds another layer onto the fun, definately a rental for me. Perhaps a purchase, I love a good co-op game.

anyone care to share strategy versus tanks? they seem to destroy my whole team in a matter of seconds.

Run and shoot. Throw a molotov and close the doors in his face and shoot until he break through. There's a second door down the stairway and do it again. If you are not there yet, get in a train car and run in the other direction he is going at while shooting through the windows. Just keep running is the best I can say.
