I can safely, say any gamer should know who Mario is Seproth I am ok if you dont know.



PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

all gamers and most people know mario. a lot of those ppl know luigi too, then.

all gamers know sonic.

most gamers know of sepheroth, but i'm sure theres some who don't really know who he is. but why did you pick him? why not cloud lol?

Mario is perhaps the only video game character that every gamer and most non gamers have heard of.

Sephiroth- no WAY. I've like never met anybody who knows who Sephiroth is.

Sonic- I'm guessing most gamers know him, but not as many as Mario.

I honestly cannot think of another character even nearly as famous as Mario. Master Chief and Link are famous within the gaming community, but not outside it.

Does Pikachu count?

I had never heard of Sephiroth till I came to this site.... Crash Bandicoot is more well known than FF characters... probably Rayman too. (worldwide anyway, Japan wll favour FF)

I think everyone who has played a video game knows of Mario (but not all computer games, i'm sure there might be a few casual PC gamers [Sims] or other PC gamers [online poker or flash games] that don't know)

Sonic is less popular, but I would think he is known by the vast majority.

My mum knows Mario, but not Sonic.

 You stole the words right out my mouth. I will add one character that I'm surprised that not one person mentioned yet (unless I missed it) that every gamer will know and even most non gamers as well. And could even be argued would be more recognized than even Mario....
