A couple of years ago I would of went with a higher price even though I had a wii, but right now I am pretty happy with the wii, and less happy with the ps3 library then I expected at this point.

If I ever bother to get an HD TV (maybe in a couple of years), you can probably add another $50 to the price. However, I don't have one yet.

then i might consider buying a ps3 without BC.

Oh, almost forgot... I would consider ebay too for just slightly less then above. I'll probably be more likely to find a good price on ebay with several games I am interested in than the price coming down enough for me to get it new... Just checked, and right now they are going for more then I am interested...

I think $329-$349 with a stellar pack-in is a great value. built in wifi, out of the box internet, and bluray. shrug.

hey, i´ll pay $25 dollars for BC. I want to trade my 40 gb for a BC model.

P.s.: i´m here cause in 6 months´my family will probably get a wii, my mom cause of wii fit, my sister because of MArio Galaxy, and since I´ll have one I´ll probably get Conduit and Zelda. So I will own both systems.

Just about the same, but my reason was BC. Also I had a 360 with me. It wasn't a horrible deal, but I wish I had an option for getting it later.

I don't think so, PS3 does not have much to offer for me, and in my opinion 360 has a better game library, i have nothing against the system its just not for me. I will be gettin Xbox later on this year.

We know Nintendo is making money on each wii sold, the hardware is cheaper than what it's sold.
We also know that sony is losing money on each PS3 sold.

And you're all asking for a PS3 at a price below the price of the wii, sometimes a lot below.

Also, the request of the BC seems strange to me... I have a 60Go PS3, with BC, I used it ONCE, to play god of war 2, only PS2 game I bought after my PS3. And actually, I could have used my PS2 to play it. I'd be curious to know how many people really use it.
