I highly doubt game developers "like" any particulary company, and I am even more wary of your assertion that they develop games on consoles they "like" instead of profitable ones, unless they are paid a substantial sum.

 

The fact is, nobody has any evidence MS paid, and so instead everyone assumes that it is so.

come we all know, to get something in the business we have to get an agreament, contract, payment. this for example, 6 months ago ff13 was ps3 exclusive, suddenly "because of current sales" it multiplatform. Wasn't xbox360 leading over ps3 6 monts ago too? the had to do something, i guess.

Exactly. So the fact that they are saying they DIDN'T pay a huge amount of money to Sqeenix means it then. otherwise, why would they hide it?

I don't care if they paid, or not.
The way I see it, if they did, microsoft just got their fanbase another game, which is almost always a good thing, instead of sony holding the game hostage.

It is available to all. (except wii, of course)

Really though, I think square made the decision. FFXIII is going to be big, so they need big money in the end, in terms of sales.
