I highly doubt game developers "like" any particulary company, and I am even more wary of your assertion that they develop games on consoles they "like" instead of profitable ones, unless they are paid a substantial sum.

 

The fact is, nobody has any evidence MS paid, and so instead everyone assumes that it is so.

Exactly. So the fact that they are saying they DIDN'T pay a huge amount of money to Sqeenix means it then. otherwise, why would they hide it?
