Nintendo announced and demoed three new peripherals: Wii Balance Board, Wii Zapper and Wii Wheel. Wii Balance Board will come packaged with Wii Fit and involves families coming to exercise together. The Wii Wheel will be packaged with the newly announced Mario Kart Wii. The Wii Zapper will come packaged with its own software at a low cost. Nintendo dated Super Smash Bros. Brawl for December 3, 2007, (though later in October 2007, the launch was delayed until February 10, 2008 and delayed again to March 9, 2008) and Super Mario Galaxy for November 12, 2007. Metroid Prime 3 demoed in near-complete form. De Blob demoed. Soulcalibur Legends trailer shown. Nitrobike unveiled. Contra 4 demoed. Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 was also announced, including 32 multi player online.

Preferably yes. Of course big announcements will get their own threads, that´s normal, but it's nice to have a defined thread for the conference, pre and after talk. Because next week will see a mayhem of different threads. Things will get buried quite fast I think.

Official chatroom for Ninty conference YEAH! Just another question though, are those live streams free just like in gamespot or its pay per view? I want to see the E3 Ninty conference live :(



end of core gaming days prediction:

 

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

 

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

 

E3 2010- Tape runs out

Hmmm...chatroom idea would be chaos...and not very fun.

 

I think that a thread should just be created called "Nintendo Press Conference."

There's usually a ramp up of excitement....people asking when it's on...where they're watching....if the conference has started yet....they're late, etc.

You don't want all that cluttering up this thread. Trust me....that press conference thread will be 5-6 pages long...and would detract from this thread.

Like when Nintendo announced something new someone will post it right away not  after the conference? :/ For everyone who didnt watch the conference or if theyre late. I think this thread will be that even if there is a separate thread created for teh conference.  This thread, I would hope, would have it's OP edited throughout the week to reflect the new revelations that are made not only at the press conference, but also from the show floor.  At the end of the week this thread will be more a table of contents leading to various sites and threads about all the major (and even the minor) announcements of E3.

I know the OP wants to keep all the discussion in this thread...but that is very unlikely.  This will probably more be a place to discuss the overall feeling towards Nintendo's showing at E3 as well as a place to discuss broad idead or reactions to the EXPO.  The individual announcements/games will certainly, unavoidably,  have their own threads (and for some probably 3 or 4).

I think the best way to go is to make separate threads with each major Nintendo announcement.
Otherwise there will be a huge mess.

I would like Nintendo to have SOMETHING about their online deal. Brawl and Mario Kart im sure are giving heavy online traffic. I know its free I do know that and I am grateful however, I wouldn't mind spending a little money to have MORE of a organized and faster servers and such. Im sure if Nintendo did that im sure the results would be great. Also um Nintendo a new Star Fox game perhaps? Zelda? Donkey Kong? Captain Falcon?
