This year's theme is definitely "bridge games."

I think Wii Music will be that game this E3.

No doubt it's one, but we already know it's not the only one (Super Sluggers is still being positioned that way). So I'm thinking that philosophy's going to extend to most of Nintendo's line-up, with a few possible exceptions.

If that's part of Nintendo's strategy, it's fine, I'd be happy if they show the core game they promised (apart of Captain Rainbow of course =) )

What I'd like, and I think is necessary, is Nintendo support more of third party games. Like books, it'd be cool if Reggie says:

"Look! You can have Action Games, Adventure Games, Terror Games, Sport games...."  for the newbies to know other categories. Third parties need to know Nintendo supports this games too.

Why no love for the Cap'n? Personally, I'm still laughing at the idea of the D-listers finally getting their time to shine!

Doesn't mean I'm going to buy it, though.

Two serious points, though. First, when Nintendo said they're unveiling a game for the "core", I seriously doubt that they're aiming at the most extreme, i.e. the snobcore.

"So-called hard-core gamers, though, have reason to be excited. Marc Franklin, director of public relations at Nintendo, recently told GamePro magazine that the baseball title Super Mario Sluggers should please die-hard Nintendo-ites."

That line makes me wonder what exactly is going on in Kyoto. Mind you, I'm already quite happy with what we know is coming, so everything else is just gravy to me, but I know not everyone feels that way.

Yeah, I guess the core gamer are Nintendo fans, people that will be happy with Pikmin, Animal Crossing, even Mario Sluggers. But even those people (myself included) would like to see Kid Ikarus, Star Fox, F Zero... and Nintendo know it.

About the Cap, well you know, I love Nintendo... but not that much

I think The Conduit is the most anticipated game on the Wii. I heard it will be presented at E3 and it will be playable. Check out this amazing video.

Where'd you hear the bolded? Because for that to be true, High Voltage would have had to select one of the 39 companies as a publisher.

They will be at e3, but afaik only behind closed doors.

I don't know what to make of this E3 - it's pretty much just a business meeting with industry journalists... as the mouth feeders get what they feel like sharing, for the magazine buyers what they pay to get... I'd much rather a passionate opinion by 30 bloggers over 1 journalists 'objective' opinion.

Yea E3 + Nintendo = Bungie making Walo on the Wii.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

So let's try this again...

I don't know if I'm Pacific or whatever...

I leave in Pennsylvania so what would I be?

Soriku, you disappoint me. You can beat ToS 16 times but you don't know your time zone?
