The only thing I like so far is the controller - it is bulky and sits well in my hands. The joysticks seem to have the right tightness. Overall it is a big improvement over the DS4 IMO

The design - I'm not a fan of it from the moment I saw the first pictures, but whatever. But I want to keep it horizontal, but the commercial stands look so meh I might as well DIY it with two pieces of plastic that I'm sure I can find in my household.

The interface is awful - I'm sure most people agree - it is chaotic, unintuitive, messy, annoying - what were they thinking? I would much prefer the simple and clean interface of the PS4.

I like the controller. Have zero issue with the design of the Slim. Mine is digital only and I lay it vertically. 

The interface is serviceable. Doing the stuff on the OS that I need done is pretty simple enough. But yes I also prefer the PS4 UI overall.

Grats. Best console ever made. I was on the fence after PS4 PRO being so good but but my PRO started having power issues and, I'm so glad it did. now it's just perfect, a better version of the PS4 PRO. I got in at 450 with a disc drive, glad I did cause it's 650 here now. Hope the new hikes didn't get ya too much but NOW is the best time to buy, there won't be another good time for many years.

Ya might feel regretful for a while with the interface and all but trust me, if you liked PS4 you'll come to love this console waaaay more. They made the right choices, just not the ones we were expecting. Trust me, you'll come to love what you see now as limitations when you have 40 games installed. 

And you'll even get a soft heart for the design of it externally 

Just wanna add, I had the same complaints. I feel stupid now having those complaints.

The controller is their best and most comfortable yet I found. I hope they'll never change the D-pad and keep each direction separate from eachother.

Design is understandable mixed amongst gamers, not my most favorite, but I understand what they were aiming to do. They firstly designed it vertically because it looks bad with the disc drive or laying horizontally, and all that curvature they wanted a system that would stand out where when you glance at a room you notice it instantly and wouldn't confuse it with any other tech device you might have beside it (ie modem, subwoofer, etc.) So love or hate the design, you will definitely recognize it and that means it worked. But lets hope they got back to a more standard tech look for the PS6.

I've had no issue with the interface, of course it took a bit getting use to but after a bit it just became seamless like most UI do.

The best feeling from switching from PS4 to PS5 is the loading times.
