Ot sure what to make of this but the PS5 version of GTA 6 ion Amazon is already sold out after about an hour. I imagine they didn't have much for the initial allotment so will check back to see what we can make of it.

The "physical" version is still available on Amazon Brasil, but there seems to only be the PS5 version as it has been years that Microsoft has stopped distributing physical games here in Brazil.

When I starter my PS5 today it had a massive VI logo in the welcome hub and the PS app has now turned to GTA VI/Vice City neon colors, which I've never ever seems for any game, not even for Sony own games.

Seems like the marketing deal is a huge thing.

Physical disc is reportedly happening December. Code-in-box is just launch copies according to this. This is from same person who said GTA 6 wouldn't have physical release day one, which turned out correct.

I don't think many people would spend $80 on a digital copy and then buy it again on disc. What's the point?

Yeah, a few weeks after the release sounds about what I expect.

I wonder if the discs will actually hold the full game tho... they better do. It won't fit into a UHD Blu-ray 100gb disc, so it better have 2 discs lol.

There are two theories about the december physical launch. The first has to do with spoilers which is straight forward. The second reason seems to have to do with R* making sure they don't have to have a gold copy until the day one patches are in place.

30~50 if there is no PC version coming by next year (which is my guess)

70-100 if there is a PC version coming next year

I think you're overestimating how much it can sell on PC. GTA is much bigger on consoles, and PC gamers are generally more price sensitive when it comes to software. Per your prediction, it'll sell more on PC in a few months and one holiday season than PS + Xbox in 14 months and two holiday seasons.

My prediction:

45-55 million (if no PC version is released before 2028)

65-80 million (if PC version is released in November 2027). 

This assumes online mode will release within a year. Otherwise 5-7 million less 

Doesn't really tell us anything about total numbers but: "According to a new report from IGN, Grand Theft Auto 6 PS5 pre-orders are outselling Xbox Series X at 6 to 1."

85% of pre orders are on PS5 according to IGN.
