Yea it's a trip to see now that the console wars are essentially over. There was so much discussion about hardcore vs casual gamers.
E3 isn't even a thing anymore? I'll have to look up this Switch cliff theory.

The last in-person E3 was in 2019. 2020 was cancelled and 2021 was online only and a waste of time. At this point there Summer Game Fest that takes place in early June that features a showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley, the main Xbox showcase, and a bunch of smaller ones.
