Oh , and Starcraft the title should be : " Another preview of my 2008 RPG of the year " , because as you can see some peoplebealive that another game will take that name :)

Wrong.

When it comes to Fable 2, my word = ultimate truth.

In any case, we can revive this thread so I can gloat on 01/01/09.

OMFG!!

I though it was FRESH INFO on FFXIII...{sigh}

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I think Fable 2 and Fallout 3 will both be pretty strong games. I'm of the opinion that Fable will go the little bit extra in order to demonstrate that Peter can deliver on his promises. From what I've seen in the Develop Diaries and stuff, it seems to be moving along pretty well.

Looking forward to getting both of them! :)

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Tell that to the Fallout faithful on this site. Most regard Fallout 3 as being already halfway down the crapper.

Fallout3 will either be an evolution of Daggerfall/Morrowind/Oblivion in the future which would anger the fallout faithful.
Or it will be a gameplay successor to Fallout1+2.

In both cases it will easily be the best RPG 2008.

There are only two great RPG developers left standing Bioware and Bethesda. Since Bioware doesn't release a RPG 2008 the title RPG of the year 2008 will go to a Bethesda title.

As easy as that. Fable doesn't even have to apply.

In the Microsoft forums?  I've met a lot of 360 fanboys that think FFXIII will come to the Xbox 360, but you?

Wow.

It has been ten years (almost) since the last Fallout, and recent media/info from Fallout 3 hasn't exactly met with a warm reception...........

Please do  , let us all have some fun when Fallout 3 or another PC RPG will win the title ... except in some Xbox magazines/sites of course , and GS *

* only if they pay them some money of course ;)

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Because people think it could deviate too much from the Fallout scheme and instead be similar to Oblivion. I'd also rather have a gameplay successor to the original Fallouts but even an Oblivion in the Future is still easily the best RPG 2008.
I mean Fable come on.

Ahem, Bioware is releasing 2 RPGs this year: Mass Effect and Dragon Age, both on PC. There's a chance DA might be pushed to early 2009 though.
