Forums - Nintendo - Which games are you most hoping to see added to the Nintendo Online Service's GameCube library?

The Nintendo GameCube is often hailed as having some of the best games ever made, but it's also not a particuarly big library, especially compared to the rival of its generation, Sony's PlayStation 2.

So far, we've gotten 6 games on the service, five Nintendo games (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, Super Mario Strikers, Chibi-Robo! and Luigi's Mansion) with only one of them being a third-party title (Soulcalibur II).

There's a lot of timeless favorites on the GameCube but what game are you most looking forward to or hoping to see added? Personally, I'm excited for one that is probably a bit of a dark horse for most people, because I'm hoping we'll get Star Fox Assault. I personally think it's the second best game in the series (after Star Fox 64, of course) and I'd love to replay it without having to dig out my old hardware.

What about you?

I would want to see input lag eliminated first beecause as long as that is there, the games are just going to play poorly. So fix input lag first, then add new games. That would my priority.

SFAdventure, SFAssault, Smash Bros Melee, the Pokémon Colosseum games, TTYD, Pikmin 1+2 (for that 4k 60fps), that game with the Giant, etc.

But SFAdventures is my number one pick. Would’ve been Chibi Robo or F-Zero, but they already added those!

Melee and Double Dash. They're the two best-selling GameCube games and ones that would be nice to pick up and play on NSO. Ditto the Mario Party games.

Most of my picks are either already there or already listed, but I'll add Wave Race Blue Storm and the Timesplitters games.

Double Dash with online play would probably make me buy the system.
My most played game from the GameCube is probably Donkey Konga but i do not think it will happen and I rather just play it on my Gamecube anyway. DK Bongos is a must.
Most games I like on the GameCube I still have playable on the original hardware, the games I would like is games that add something to the experience. My favorite Mario Kart with online play is one example.

This, plus the stick sensitivity. You push it a little bit and not even half-way of its whole area it acts like you pushed it all the way in. That plus the input lag makes games feel very unresponsive. Wind Waker is not a particularly precise game, but even that feels just wrong and tedious to play.

As for games, give me the 3D Pokémon games + Twilight Princess + Double Dash and I'm happy.

Really, really wish they would add Eternal Darkness. Timesplitters and Skies of Arcadia would also be cool.
