Any predictions out there for First week sales of Yotei in Japan?

Well, if are to assume that the install base of the previous game from PS4 owners in the same for this game from PS5 owners (by 2.3%), we should expect around 160,000 units.

That's a really good first week for Silent Hill f. Probably the best first week for a Silent Hill game if include digital

Was there a holiday or something this week, that all (relevant) systems increased?

At any rate, good to see a healthy opening for Silent Hill. On the flipside, Sonic Racing stumbles out of the gate, though that's not entirely unexpected as the hedgehog has never really been big in Japan. Still, a shame as it is quite a good game.

Atelier Resleriana also seems to have foundered, with an opening less than half that of the last game, Yumia.

Didn't expect the Switch 1 to go back over 20k and the PS5 over 10k again this soon so hardware is doing better than I expected currently which is nice to see. The PS5 should have a decent week again next time too thanks to Yotei.

TBH despite all the online hype around Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, I do not believe the game will sell very well. As somebody who has purchased almost every Sonic release at launch over the past 7y, I’m holding off on Crossworlds solely due to its $70USD price tag. (Plus, I just don’t see it satiating my kart racing hunger when MKWorld is still readily available to play.) That’s a lot of money for a middle-of-the-road franchise.

Great opening for Silent Hill f.

And it deserves. Such a good game!

At least it’s selling better than Team Sonic Racing did when it first came out. On his first week, it only sold 3,339 Switch and 2,432 PS4. And we don’t even know how many Crossroads units were sold for the PS5 and PS4 and how many Switch 2 units will be sold later.

We are slowly approaching the busiest season. Exciting times ahead.

Switch 1 performing better than expected post Switch 2 launch.

Well, PS5 was to be expected with Silent Hills and Atelier releases, especially with the sales that Silent Hills F has.

The Switch going up by almost 7k just because of Atelier and 9 RIP Sequel is much more surprising imo. Is the Switch 2 having supply issues in Japan?
