Forums - Nintendo - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to Switch 2

The game, from developer MachineGames (Wolfenstein the New Order, Wolfenstein II) will release on Nintendo's hybrid console in 2026:

Will get it if it finally gets a proper physical release, but its definitely going to be a GKC or a CIAB release.

Nice.

I'll probably get it in the distant future.

As a ray tracing-only game it will be the litmus test for the future viability of 3rd party ports.

Nice to see Switch 2 get another 9th-Gen only title. Will be interesting to see how well it runs and looks.

I'm potentially interested in picking up Indiana Jones for the Switch 2 if it runs well.

IMO this is one of the 5 best looking next-gen games, so to have it very early in the Switch 2 product cycle bodes well.

Glad it is coming. I think games like this, along with Outlaws, will make it easier to understand the S2's hardware. Plus good games deserve more sales.

“Consoles are great… if you like paying extra for features PCs had in 2005.”

Given the games silky smooth 60fps and solid resolution on all platforms, I think the S2 game will come out looking good.

I forgot what developer said it but I think they were on the ball by suggesting any game with a good 60fps version on Series S should make a good S2 30fps port. DLSS will handle the resolution cutback and reduced density/draw distance will help get the CPU performed to a respectable level.

The game has had great reviews but the first person view has put it a bit further down my priority list, just not quite what I imagine for Indiana Jones. But that also makes it a great candidate for something I'm more likely to play casually on the Switch 2

I think this is a fair assessment.  Most current gen ports will be top out at 30 fps, which everyone is entitled to their opinion there.  Some graphical cut backs, resolution mostly fine via DLSS.

I haven't played it yet, it is on my wishlist, but I will be going PC.

I'll be shocked if the game is offered physically on cart.  120 gb, even if cut back is a tough order.
