Forums - Nintendo - Switch 2 Top-Selling eShop Games at Launch

Which one would it be? Mario Kart World, of course! The following list, taken from the US store, shows the top-selling titles over the past three days based on revenue. It's surprising to see the GOTY Welcome Tour in third place, such a significant amount of revenue is being generated from what had to be a free-to-play title.

In the UK, the lists are mostly the same - with Mario Kart in first, Cyberpunk in second, and Fast Fusion is in third place overall, No Man's Sky has also entered the top ten, and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S is listed as one of the most downloaded eShop titles in this location as well.

Nice to see Cyberpunk 2077 and Fast Fusion make the list, both are excellent.

Should have put this in Sales, well, never mind. How are the standings in your own shops?

I'm sure there are a lot of Switch owners who haven't yet completed TOTK or who have only played breath of the Wild

That's a quite nice website you have down under. It neatly separates both eShops and even displays their top-selling titles, cool!

I'll have l to take a look again here on the Canadian Eshop but surprisingly, it was the Upgrade Pack for Zelda TOTK that was on top, Mario Kart World is second while Welcome Tour was currently third

This might have changed this morning but considering this is a revenue based chart, the number of upgrade pack sold must be pretty great to surpass even the selling revenue of a full game costing like 8 times the amount !

Edit : Yup, still the same

I’m one. Ive got TotK but not really progressed in it. tempted to give it another go on the Switch but equally tempted to get BotW and finish that of first (Id done 3 Divine Beasts in it).

Meanwhile 90% of my first evening with my Switch 2 was in the GameCube app lol

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

People confirm that the 10$ price tag for Welcome Tour is fine, if it's the best selling download-only game.
