I've seen the Digital Foundry video, even Batman Arkham (who run terribly on Switch 1) has a 30FPS patch

Small improvement, really games and genn nowadays are not that far apart and people seem to lose graps what a real massive difference in quality whas.

Its only to be expected same as ps4 games run better on a ps5.

I wouldn't call say Bayonetta 3 going from an unstable 30-50fps to a stable 60fps without a dedicated update "small" at all. And the gap between Switch 1 and Switch 2 in capability is quite large.

It's also not guaranteed that backwards compatibility will improve performance; Wii games didn't run any better on Wii U for instance, and some 360 games actually ran worse on Xbox One.

I dont agree not even a slight, its a great feature but its not mind boggling(thats what a massive difference should do at least in my eyes)

The switch2 is just a beefier switch1 just like a ps5 is a beefier ps4.

The vast majority of successor consoles ever made are just a beefier version of their predecessor.

PS2 was just a beefier PS1, PS3 a beefier PS2, PS4 a beefier PS3, Xbox Series a beefier Xbone which was was a beefier 360 which was a beefier OC Xbox, etc.

The step up in power from Switch 1 to Switch 2 is not remotely slight/minor:
