Pretty pointless comparison, they are completely different genres, from two different eras, one being remaster at that (and not full remake), with only thing being somewhat similar that they are both open world.

It's sad that not too long ago, Nintendo released an insanely good Metroid Prime Remaster for 40 dollars. I guess that was a one in a lifetime kind of deal xD

We know that Nintendo won't count upgrade packs as game sales. Upgrade pack purchases will count in the same way as DLC does.
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

In before a crazy statistician decides to do the math when we get the financials of the first fiscal quarter to extrapolate the data from the add-on, digital section of the revenue chart.
Not happening of course, but it's be funny to see people try haha.
Actually, I do think there's at least a slight chance of them addressing a ballpark number of how many people have bought these upgrade packs. Their transparency on software numbers could come in handy there.

The only game I would spend more than seventy dollars on (and even that is contingent on how good it is) is GTA 6. But that's because I know how long it took to create, how many man hours it took to create, and how much money that publisher spent developing it. If GTA 6 is eighty dollars, it would actually make sense.
But Nintendo games? I don't care how good they are (and they are some of the best, if not the best in the industry). They aren't all that technologically advanced. They do not necessitate even remotely the same kind of capital as other games in the industry, so unlike GTA 6, it's completely unnecessary, and I won't be doing it.
Of course, after finding out that the bulk of third party games on Switch 2 are digital cards, it looks like this may be the first Nintendo console I will not own, and that's really sad because I'm an OG. To think the time has finally come where I have to part from the company I have loved for the majority of my life, even if I knew it was getting close, is very, very depressing.
But hey, there is enough Nintendo IP between NES and Switch 1 to keep me happy for the rest of my life, so perhaps it'll be okay.
Also Clair Obsvur for 50 euro with saving to 45 in many places and not to mention Oblivion and clair Obscur both being available to people for less than 15 euro if they desire to not own and rent the games for a month.
