This table illustrates what happens when facts are mixed with fiction. There are five bullet points followed by a lot of bullshit to skew the perception of the games in question.
What is a fan? That is easily defined as "a gamer who owns the original version of the game."
Will any fan of the PC version consider $50 a steal when even Nintendo of all companies provides a $10 upgrade path for its own fans (or $30 if they have yet to buy the DLC)? What a laughable idea. I could see PS and Xbox fans of Oblivion being stupid enough to consider the price difference that is to their own disadvantage a positive, but even that is not going to be a noteworthy number of gamers.
The so-called "fan sentiment on pricing" is a summary of the opinions of people who couldn't care less about either game, but will gladly take any opportunity to bash Nintendo.
As for the question of sales, I have to agree with others here that the questions posed in the OP are ambiguous and that we likely won't get to know all required facts for a proper conclusion.
