It is one of the best parts of this site. Not saying we're a perfect bunch with perfect taste, but it's still a guiding light of some games to check out. I think even some of the pickiest people who somehow hadn't played more than few dozens of these games would still enjoy around 100 of them.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

By the way, I added links to all the past results from previous years on the OP. Figured it'd make sense for it to be there given this is my last time hosting it.

Thanks for all the work on this over the years mZuzek!

Surprised BotW dropped from 1st to 3rd - I always assumed that would always win on VGC pretty much regardless of the make up of the voting base.

It's interesting to see all the recent GOTY-type winners slip down the list as initial hype wears off and people start to re-assess them more objectively compared to their other favourite games. I expect the same thing will happen to Astro Bot and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth next year.

Interesting lists as always. Despite the usual Nintendo centric choices, the overall number of games is interesting.

Ps4 at 128 games is still higher than any Nintendo console including the Switch at 118 games.

Ps5 at 41 games already surpassed most Nintendo consoles. Only Switch, Wii and Gamecube stay ahead.

PC with the infinite life glitch at 339 games is champion.

PC games don't usually make top 100, so really it is just more spread out votes.

Thanks mZuzek for all the effort, not only this year but all the past years. I will look a bit deeper into the results later, only notice for now that I am still the only one voting for Another Code. The game has a remake on Switch now, get to it people!

Yeah, I used to think so too. The gap between it and Ocarina of Time was really small last year though, and this time it fell way behind for some reason. I think maybe Tears of the Kingdom might've had an adverse impact on it, but put simply, this year's voting base was very different.

Very nice list.

Now with the Nintendo Switch 2 coming this year we might be getting a good amount of games for next list. Perhaps we’ll have some exclusives in the top 100.

Thanks for the hard work! Always love reading the top 200. Love seeing Baldur's Gate 3 + Astro Bot + Nier Automata up there

Wooo Warcraft III in the top 100! And with Tales of Symphonia making it as well that makes this the first time my top 5 have all made it into the top 100. The unfortunate drops for Witcher 3 and Persona 5 are offset by Half-Life 2 finally making the top half.

I actually did sort of expect that BotW wouldn't win this year but 3rd takes me by suprise. I'm only slightly guilty as I didn't list BotW this year with my different format but didn't list OoT either which I usually do (a bit lower).
