It's been over 3 months since I last played Breath of the Wild. Did 2 Guardians so far. I should make myself finish it before I start another new game.

But I've been in the mood to play a Megaman X game, and I realised I've never played X2 or X3, so I think I'll play those this week.

So coz I clearly hate myself my next game is currently Wuchang Fallen Feathers. So far (just defeated the second boss) it’s a surprisingly great Soulslike. The main mechanic the game revolves around is raising your inner demon level with madness, a build up affect from killing enemies that gradually makes you do/take more damage and lose gradually more red mercury (souls) upon death the higher the count. It’s kicker tho is if you die with max madness the next time you go to retrieve your red mercury it’ll spawn your inner demon you’ll need to defeat. It’s very much a high risk high reward Soulslike that is so far at least harder than any of the core souls games. Highly recommend it to Souls fans.

Ride The Chariot | ‘25 Completion

Been playing lufia2.
28 hours in lvl 41 freaking love the game but some of the puzzles i had to check a guide.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Played a lot the last 5 weeks, some of the games I finished:

Cyberpunk

Finished it and loved would give it a 8.8,  it needed more variety to be that long, the gigs will become a chore to them.

Astro Miner

Ok, it was cheap and I had some time to kill till the next big game basically a mobile game that let you mine things, get better tools to mine more etc..

Minami Lane

One of those games on gamepass that seemed complicated but is honestly very casual friendly. Basically you have to create street and need some goals, it is rather short 6-8 levels?  That you can beat in a few hous,  wished it was longer

Idle wizard  and DPS idle

Well another two free games that I completed for the next big game release

WW2 Rebuilder

Basically cities are destroyed and you have to collect the garbage, destroy buildings and fix or build stuff,  I enjoyed it but I could not save levels
so if I did not finish a level I had to do it all again...Very annoying.

Zumba Treasure of the Marble sea

Eww, I loved zome of Zuma games back on XBLA but this one is just bad, feels like it has been made with AI or something.  It is all so minimal and you already struggle to finish the first levels...

PO'ED

Yeah I gave up on it fast, love boomer shooters but this one is just weird and in a world with so many boomer shooters you may skip this one.

Gears of War Reloaded

Their was a period in my life that I had a yearly tradition of playing Gears 1-Gears Judgement and Halo 1- Halo Reach,  so this version did not do much for me.
Finished it in 5 hours (campaign) and deleted it looking forward to E-Day tho..

Black Myth Wukong

Read the book in Chinese so I was so looking forward to finally play it and it was like a love letter to its world I adore.

I am afraid of difficult games but this one wasn't so hard at all, the first chapter was like a 8/10 difficulty wise but if you explore the chapters in the game it becomes less hard 6/10 difficulty wise.
I love their is no scaling, I love you don't lose stuff when you die and so on...A big 9/10 game,  personally a 9.5 for me and it it would hard to choose wich game I prefer Clair Obscur or BMW..hmm

Moving Houses

Another indie game that I choose to play till next big release named silksong.  It is honestly not bad at all and I love the twist at the end, it is just pity that it is short and you have to do a new game + to get the same game with just a little more to do....  Well if you want all the achievements..

Mining Merchs , Mining Mechs DLC

I loved the base game, bit like a very simple steamworld dig,  Mind vertically and upgrade your machine to collect more stuff, mine faster etc.  I recommend this game and its dlc because it mosty go on sale for a few bucks and you will be addicted to it especially if you go for the achievements or trophies.

Silksong

Honestly I remember I enjoyed Hollow Knight but don't really remember that much about it. People were hyping Silksong up so I also went with the flow.

Downloaded the game and I was hooked immediately, I really loved my time with the game, again I am bad with hard games but this felt not so hard at all.

The game is perfect for speedrunning, case in point you will unlock deliveries in the game that lets you cross half the map without getting hit a lot or needs you to be fast without using fast travel and I did it, sure one was with a timer and I had to do it a few times over again but I went fast and felt like I was a speedrunner.

Also the bosses felt amazing (their are so many of them!!!!) and all of them can feel hard but you learn when to hit them, when to move away, and when to bind...Every game can finish the game if they learn the pattern, what will kill gamers the most (including me) is being impatient,  the typical...

'I know I can hit him now, and instead of hitting him once safely you want to try to hit it twice, then get damaged and feel like you need to heal yourself so you heal yourself to fast, get hit,  so you get annoyed and then end up dying...and all of this because you were impatient...'

Again a big 9/10 for me, the difficulty was honestly a 6/10 for me and I went with 100% completion (took me longer than 30 hours) and I don't want to try to complete it in 5 hours or in steelmode to get all achievements =p.

Ninja Gaiden 2 black. I decided to give this another crack. If you can get past the abysmal camera system in the first 10 mins , this game has some of the best hack and slash moves and animation along with the blood and visual effects, that i've seen.

The price of admission is worth it, even if you just get to experience the visual splendour for a few mins.

I just finished Dragon Quest III HD-2D. Fantastic game.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Xenoblade Chronicles X DE
The game is very long and you gotta do side missions in between story missions, but they are very fun missions some with their own plotwists. Once you get used to the combat and initially overwhelming menus/mechanics, by like chapter 4 ish (the intro) the game clicks and the story gets really interesting from chapt 5 (it wont take long to reach this point either)

And the music...oh my its great!!

Finding it so hard to game, even The Witcher 3 is failing to grab me. All I can do is Powerwash simulator and it's pretty good for what it is but it's less of a game and more of an interactive screen saver. Not even sure if, should Ghost of Yotei be 90+, will be enough get me back on track. I was doing so damn well to, I was on track to complete 34 games this year and Platinum 20+ of them making it my best year in gaming ever by 10 games, it still has a chance but at 24 games with a 75% plat rate, while still my best year ever, it'll fall short of what it could have been. I had like 650 out of 800 hours spent on completed games in the first half of the year and managing to keep close to 4 hours a day as average with such a good plat rate and then bam, complete cliff face, drop off. It's such a massive fail when you can't keep up with what is supposed to be a hobby.

Not sure how to fix this problem, I have the time I just can't get the will to do it. Fuckin sucks majour ass and there are so many 90+ games installed on my PS5, all there just to tease.

on the bright side you are probably spending more hours gaming than like 90%+ of gamers haha so its nothing to feel like your not doing enough imo
