FFVII Rebirth Demo

I was not looking forward to because I recently finished the first one but I had a great time but the open world stuff felt already as work. Anyway took me almost 10 hours to finish the demo and probably unlocking a ton of Achievement day one I play it =p

Well Mixtape was a great time. One of my favourite this year for sure. Might be finished with Avowed later today, really hooked me. Just in time for dumping 200+hrs onto FH6 😅

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

Mouse PI, almost done. Just love the game. Super fun story, music, graphics. Gameplay is shockingly tight, plays like Doom.

Switch 2

Honestly I'd say 2026 is when things are really starting to pick up. The game library is getting stronger and more people are upgrading now. It just takes time for a generation to find its footing, but the exclusives and next-gen optimized titles are finally making the upgrade feel worth it!

Ball X pit has me, it's so good I was playing it with a migraine. It's one of the best games I have ever played and easily reaching down into my top 50 after only 8 hours. Just goes to show that quite often smaller games are better at being video games and better at fun than big AAA stuff cause I tried to play so many AAA games this past 9 months and nothing could hold me.

Vampire Crawlers is damn good too, it's a very simple game and you could probably play it well without trying to win and it feels slightly like you're just throwing out cards for damage but there's just enough of engagement for it to be more than that but it's the progression that is the most fun. It bottlenecks where difficulty raises but it's rarely challenging, just more of a case of picking the right character, and grinding side stuff for unlocks, characters and cards more than anything in the moment to moment gameplay.

Playing Vampire Survivors with a fresh Platinum list and I'm actually stuck on it. It's one of the easiest games I've ever played but it's that I picked up from a save that was four hours in and Idk what I'm supposed to be aiming to unlock. It's a mindlessly fun game but after playing Halls of Torment, I think that game might eclipse it. HoT is thee the best diabo/Survivors games I've ever played which I'm grinding end game stuff on now for trophies and maybe the platinum.

All 4 games are extremely dopamine heavy and are such a great medicine for a scattered mind. I play a session f one of these games for an hour and then I feel better for two or so after.

Replaying various Ninja Games. Ninja Gaiden Black. Ninja Gaiden II Black. Ninja Gaiden 4. Shinobi PS2 and Nightshade. I put a couple missions in Yaiba and that game is just awful.

Jesus it's been two years. That time went so quick, feels like I only joined the site less than a year ago.

The man who made Ball X Pit, Kenny Sun is an absolute genius, I've been trying to figure out did he lucky cause his previous games don't look anything close to this game. There is no way he got lucky, the design is flawless. I hope the man doesn't pull a Notch and sell out but I'd say he has it in him to build something special whichever way he goes.
