Consolidating data from weeks 51 and 52 of the Spanish physical market, this is how consoles and their best-selling titles performed throughout the year.

The seven year old Switch did best both PS5 and Xbox Series. Almost sold as much as the twins combined due to Xbox Series being almost dead in Spain.

OK so here's how far out their combined weekly tracking was versus their final yearly totals:

• NS - 54.5k undertracked. An average of over 1k a week off.
• PS5 - 40.4k undertracked.
• XS - 32.4k undertracked. This was the worst of the lot - just 100k total and yet the weekly figures were off by over 30k! That's almost a third of the total.

The fact they never acknowledged this discrepancy is quite something. 

Given the weekly numbers, I thought PS5's advantage over the other two would be bigger than that.

Just incredible considering Spain was Sonyland a few years ago

TOTK and Wonder leading the software charts is great to see, but the real breakout performer is Switch Sports; #5 in the charts and outselling titles like the PS5 version of FC 24, Spiderman, and Hogwarts Legacy. Crazy considering this isn't even the year it came out.

The room for improvement of the PS5 is still quite high considering that it's still 550 euros.

Launch aligned comparisons, the PS4 slim was 300 euros and the Pro 400 euros back in 2017.
