With the injuries to Chubb and Saquon Barkley, it's no surprise RBs are demanding more pay.
Out of all the skill positions on offense, they're the ones who take the most punishment.

Yeah but it also goes to show why teams are smart for not signing them to the huge deals RB's want. The days of a workhorse RB are largely over.

Sadly, you're correct.

It's a simple supply and demand thing. Today's game is a passing game. WRs and route-running/possession TEs are more prized and valued than workhorse RBs and blocking TEs of yesteryear.

Even some of the best RBs in the game today are required to have some value and ability in the passing game (McCaffrey, Ekeler, Kamara, etc.)

If RBs nowadays want that type of money, they have to show that they're just as good as a WR as they are a RB. Even then, they still won't likely get as much as an elite WR like Hill, Adams, or Jefferson, because of the higher injury risk.

No Aiyuk, no problem for the 49ers.
Though they should have won this game anyway seeing as the Giants had no Barkley or 2 starting OL.

Major blow for the Cowboys.

Trevon Diggs out for the year with a torn ACL.

Cool to see that the Vikings lost.

The Packers had luck on their end this week, winning by one point after losing by one point last week. Looks like the NFC North will be won by either the Lions or the Pack this year, with the runner-up likely not making the playoffs. It's a weak division, but I don't think that surprises anyone.

It's really sad that the broadcasting rights for Germany/Austria were bought up by the shittiest TV network over here. Not only did they retain most of the subpar German commentators, including three former German NFL players, but there's also no broadcast with Austrian commentators anymore. To add insult to injury, the games they select to broadcast are hot garbage all too often. Seriously, who in their right mind would pick Patriots vs. Jets and, even worse, Cowboys vs. Cardinals as today's games to watch. I'm still waiting for a Green Bay game to get aired over here.

Looking up today's results on NFL.com, I first thought it's another instance of a website error because the Dolphins were shown to have scored 70 points against the Broncos. But apparently it's all correct, including almost 400 passing yards and around 350 rushing yards for Miami's squad.

The AFC South teams collectively surprised. A hapless Titans team got stomped by the Browns, the Colts toppled the Ravens and somehow the Texans destroyed the Jaguars.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Dolphins were not playing, holy smokes!

NFL script writers went all out this Sunday.

70?!?!?

If definitely like the Dolphins to win the AFC East hopefully the at least make it to the AFC title game also.
