Good week for PS5, bad launch for Armored core. Wonder if next week Xbox can finally win its first week of the year.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Rough couple of weeks for Switch hardware. PS5 doing well, but note this is because of the start of a new sale (which ends 7th Sept).

Blasphemous 2 did well for a game the vast majority of people will buy digitally; Spain seems to have a soft spot for indie physical releases on Switch.

ACVI didn't do well for FromSoft game... but it did OK for a mech game.

YoY changes for the week:
PS5 +197%
NS -60.5%
XS -64.1%

I wonder if the Switch is having a weak August in other parts of Europe as well.

The Switch is slowing down hardware-wise, but it still dominates the software numbers. Really, after TotK released, I'm struggling to imagine another big hitter that could reignite the sales of the Switch, especially when it's near 130m already. I would still be interested in a Switch TV, though...

You know it deserves the GOTY.

What are we basing it being bad off? The series history.

I think across the board PS5 software is also leaning very digital because otherwise you would expect more software on there considering its consistently the highest selling hardware this year by a fair margin

Probably, as most people go on holidays during that time throughout Europe.

PS5 Over 12 to 1 over xbox.

Mostly because it's a game made by a developer which is very popular. I would have expected it to be rated higher. In some Western markets it did get the top spot.
