Had a double take at the House number, at first I was like "What am I missing, $348m? They're beating Dems?" then I look again "$348k?!" Would be overjoyed to see House Republicans get crushed. Obviously I want to see Senate and President stay Dem too but I have a very particular hatred of House GOP right now.

Reminds me even more of Trump attacking Jewish Americans for not voting for him on Rosh Hashana just last year.

What was the attack?

Trump shares post on Jewish New Year attacking American Jews who didn't support him | CNN Politics

Here's some commentary on American politics that show how the far right projections and hypocrisy. This is specific to US politics, but this can be adapted to the far right in certain other countries. Even the countries that don't really have far-right wing governments, the far right still exists, they just support foreign politicians.

He also points out "Godwin's Law" that arguments eventually collapse to comparisons to the Nazis, and that whoever invokes that loses the argument... unless they're literal neo-nazis.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I had that video proposed by Youtube but didn't watch it because the name and image made it look like the author was equaling Nazism with Democrats. Though listening to the video, that might have been intentional to attract right-ring watchers and to educate them.

I thought the same thing, but seeing this and hearing it from multiple sources I might need to give it a shot.

Trump Media stock erases all gains since it began trading as DJT shares fall again.
And many traders are betting that the stock price will continue to fall further.

Feels good, man.

"Donald Trump is tightening his stranglehold on the congressional GOP's policy agenda as he reshapes Republican lawmakers' party orthodoxy on national security and social issues.

Trump's sway was on full display Wednesday as the House tried to take up a warrantless government surveillance bill that was intended to unite the party. Then, hours after the former president pushed to "kill" the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act reauthorization, 19 House Republicans did just that.

He's also successfully nudging most anti-abortion conservatives to accept his call to abandon a national standard — what was once a consensus position in the GOP. That's on top of Trump's long-standing opposition to new Ukraine aid, which remains stalled on the Hill."

POLITICO

This party is such a fucking embarrassment, Lol. What happened to Republicans spine? Yes lord Trump, what would you have us do lord Trump, do you need us to polish your boots lord Trump? Mofo's can't even stand up against Russia anymore, just have Russia invade America and the Republicans would bend over backwards and welcome Putin in with open arms.

If these dudes love monarchies so much they should let Britain take back over America.

I think Trump should rename himself Norton II.

I'd rather they all migrated to Saudi Arabia so they can play golf with Prince Bonesaw. They seem to want to turn the Trump family into the American version of the House of Saud. Or the Kims.

Alternatively, I'd like them to take Putin on his offer to resettle disgruntled American conservatives and disgruntled Boers in Russia. Tara Reade already took that offer, as did a Canadian family that's now complaining about the bureaucracy and lack of modern conveniences in Russia compared to Canada. I'm perfectly okay with quarantining that sickness in Russia.

This dude is a Russian puppet.

  • He was one of only three House members to vote against a 2017 bill to impose new sanctions on Iran, Russia, and North Korea
  • In 2019, Massie was the only member of Congress to oppose an act that refused to recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea.
  • He was one of three members to oppose a March 2022 resolution supporting Ukraine's sovereignty after it was invaded by Russia.
  • He later amplified Russian claims that Ukraine was developing biological weapons. Referring to Victoria Nuland's statement that Ukraine had biological research facilities that the U.S. feared might be seized by Russia, Massie tweeted, "I didn’t take the concern over Ukrainian biological labs seriously ... until now."
  • Massie opposed a resolution in 2022 to support Sweden and Finland joining NATO, saying he did not want to "subsidize socialist Europe's defense".
  • On March 19, 2024, Massie voted NAY to House Resolution 149 Condemning the illegal abduction and forcible transfer of children from Ukraine to the Russian Federation. He was one of nine Republicans to do so.
  • In October 2019, Massie criticized the jail sentence for Maria Butina, a Russian citizen who pleaded guilty to conspiring to act as a foreign agent in the United States.

If I was Mike Johnson (I wouldn't be a Republican) I'd tell Massie in front of the entire room to go fuck himself.
