I thought HDR on the ps4 pro was meh. the ps5 HDR is superb. The ps5 is a bigger jump than I expected.

Technically not a full game, but Matrix awakens blew my socks off.

From experience I can tell you Elden Ring looks much more impressive in PS5 than it does in PS4. The improvement is very noticeable.

I think i didnt played a single game that blew me away, best looking one is demon souls so far. Last of us two and ghosts tsushima made everything looking just ok, i expect way more.

It's the scale that makes it new gen technology. Flying in real time weather all across the world in a realistic mostly up to date representation. As per your example, you can fly to any mountain in the world and examine it in detail, or at least as much as is known / has been captured of it in reality.

I've taken well over 15 thousand screenshots of FS2020, all different, all unique, all carefully taken. My FS2020 screenshot folder is 41 GB. FS2020 is indeed still the most impressive game of the gen. It's not without problems of course and quality varies a lot across the world, yet in scope and realism it's way ahead of anything else while being at the forefront of city scale photogrammetry technology.

I can fly over my parent's house at the other side of the world, view their house in 3D and count how many solar panels my dad installed on their roof. That's mind blowing.

Vampire Survivors is next gen.

Really looking forward to Stellar Blade as a PS5 exclusive.Seems Sony wants their own stylish action series to PS like DMC used to be and how Bayonetta is now to Nintendo.
